There was a lot of speculation on when Balakrishna’s Maharadhi would release. The makers initially planned to release it two weeks before Sainikudu, which was expected to release on the 22nd of November. But, well placed sources in the unit inform that the makers are bogged down by delays in shooting and post-production. They do not want to release their film in the month of December, as it’s crowded with many releases. Since, Yogi is the other only big-budget release for Sankranthi 2007, they too are planning to release their film for Pongal season. But the buyers of the movie are insisting on releasing the movie in the month of November itself. The makers are also contemplating to release the audio on the 6th of November and the movie on the 18th. But, the have not officially made a statement as yet.
